By Adam DoolittlePublished: December 4, 2007 in reviews,
This simple layout details the reviews “to help US Players find safe and fun online gambling destinations.” The dark orange header and burnt green navigation gives hints of a design from Open Source Web Design.
With one column, top usa online casinos, lists “the top ten online casinos” in no particular order nor a detailed explanation of the rating process.
Yet with one column, this site attempts to blend what appears to be three different images for the header. Starting from the left, a blurred American flag sits next to an image of some gambling game, yet can’t be distinguished, and moving to the far right sits an image of a ‘Jonny Knoxville’ character holding cash.
The ‘Jonny Knoxville’ character appears to have the leftovers of a “Copyright” watermark left spanning across his head. Either this site doesn’t have the right to use this image, or the website used the wrong image.
Even if this site is based on a Open Source Web Design template, the fading lines of the background coupled with the orange header and green navigation bar, the minimalist layout proves to organize the content with simplicity.
What this site could use is a logo, or other recognizable image for the header to distinguish the credibility of the entire website. Second, this site could use more unique layout features to separate it from a free template.
