In 1985, Congress approved the U.S. Mint to make the American Silver Eagle. Part of the contract between dealers and the U.S. mint is offering to buy the coins back. So, whomever you buy your silver coins from, they must have some program to allow you to sell the coins. It’s the law.
Finding a coin dealer is just as easy as selling the coins because coin dealers are abundant on-line, as well as dealers can be found in most cities.
Before you buy any coins, be sure to ask your dealer if he or she has a program to buy back the coins, and what that process takes.
